Tarin (04/26/09)

What happens when you mix a Pug and a Bichon? Tarin! Four month old Tarin came into BARK last week from an overcrowded shelter in Iowa. She has found her forever home and is our first official B.A.R.K. adoption! Congratulations to Pat on the new member of their family!

Renegade (05/20/09)

Renegade (05/20/09)

Renegade finally found his perfect home with Shelly in Wisconsin! Renegade was our first B.A.R.K. dog to be accepted into the rescue and was a foster favorite. Have fun with him Shelly!

Buzz (06/28/09)

Thank you Moreno family! Buzz was our shy sweetie with the porcupine face. We're so glad he found his new home so fast!

Sadie (07/25/09)

Our first pet adoption event at the Chaska Petco proved to be a success for Sadie the Saint Bernard and her new family. She has a new human brother AND a new dog brother! What a lucky girl!

Eddie (07/25/09)

Our shy guy Eddie selected his new family very quickly at the adoption day. Thank you to the Aplin's for giving Eddie his very own boy!

Potter (08/27/09)

Potter was our feisty little Corgi rescued from a shelter in west central MN. Thank you Christine for understanding the special Corgi attitude and giving Potter a great new home!

Yankee (09/12/09)

Yankee, now renamed "Tucker", was the perfect foster dog in every way. He was only one day away from being euthanized in Tennessee and made the 20 hour trip home to MN, quietly cuddled on the passenger seat! The O'briens are the perfect home for this 1 in a million dog and we know they will love him as much as we did!

Dora (09/29/09)

Here are the lucky new parents of our sweet Dora! Dora, a dog of probably many breeds, was on the brink of being euthanized but was transported to her MN foster home just in time. Dan and Cheryl were having some difficulties finding a dog but finally found the perfect little dog right here! Thank you for continuing to spoil this darling girl!

Peapod (10/25/09)

Thank you Lori for choosing "rescue mutt" Peapod! He will bring you years of joy and was a foster home favorite!

Marie (10/25/09)

Here's Marie! Thanks so much for giving one of our girls a homeTia!

Browser (10/25/09)

Browser, named for his fantastic eyebrows, found a home at our first Indoor Dog Park adoption event. Thanks to Tonia and family!

Monica (10/25/09)

After much deliberation, Monica was chosen from the crowd as the Becker's newest addition! Springer spaniel "Abbie" will have a new little sister to entertain!

Mario (10/25/09)

Thank you Berg Family! Mario will have years of fun in your home. Enjoy!

Bella (11/01/09)

Bella the purebred Weimaraner was a pampered house dog for 6 years when her family decided to leave her at the shelter. Sometimes for an older dog, that can be a death sentence, especially since she needed surgery. Lucky for Bella, she was brought to her brand new foster dad who wasn't really sure he even wanted a dog but who agreed to help B.A.R.K. (and Bella) until she was healed and adopted...she never left. Thanks Kev. :-)

Bruno (1/30/10)

FINALLY! Bruno's forever family found him after being in foster care for over 8 months! We couldn't be happier, the Walls are his perfect home!

Sprout (2/07/10)

Sprout (renamed "Spirit")found Kim at the Dog City Dog Park rescue round-up! Out of all those dogs and rescue groups Sprout was able to weasel her little terrier body into Kim's arms! Thanks Kim, enjoy our little diva!

UPDATE on "TUCKER" 11-02-09

Hi Kelly everything is great.  Tucker is everything we hoped for he is lying by my feet as I am typing.  He loves everyone and we all love him.  The boys friends think he is awesome.  He has not gotten into any trouble he minds ,does not get in garbage or anything.  He is probably one of the easiest dogs we have ever had.   He is so quiet he hardly makes any noise walking around.  He is funny a real character...
He will not leave me alone when I return from work until I sit and cuddle him for awhile.  I love it too.  He will sometimes just sit and stare at me tell I let him up on my lap, he even wants to sit on my lap when I am at the computer...He has been microchipped and registered so we can get him back if he were to get seperated from us.  We are his forever family and he is seeming to get less afraid of getting left behind as time goes on...
He is a wonderful addition to our family I am so happy he was rescued.  Thank you again for your part.-- Mary Jo

 UPDATE on "Zoey" 12-12-09

(We received WONDERFUL pictures and a very nice card from "Zoey's" new family! Just in time for Christmas! Thank you!)

Zoey likes to look out the sliding glass doors to the back yard area. When she sees the geese in the open area next to our side backyard, she loves to run up to our fence and they all fly away. I think it makes her feel like a really big dog! Zoey comforted Dan after his knee replacement surgery, We cannot thank you enough, She is the best! She's really sweet and a great lap dog! We hope you have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! -- Dan, Cheryl, and Zoey

Update on Bruno:

Hi Kathy and Shelia,

We just wanted to thank you again for Bruno! He had a great trip home. We stopped off to visit his new "Auntie Diane" in Elko, who had a doggie sweater waiting for him. Right now he is sitting with the girls watching the Miss America pageant. He seems to be enjoying it. Or maybe it is the Cheetos the girls have been feeding him. We are sending a picture of him lounging in JT's chair modeling his new sweater. He and Max are doing well together.
